It seems like not many people are talking about the solar limits for residential solar.

We just quoted a lovely lady a maximum size.  NJ = 30 kilowatt Direct Current Systems.

30?  That's the max??

CT - 20?

Most states seem to be between 20 - 30 kilowatt Direct Current System Sizes.

This is all great for people that do not own electric vehicles.  Once I get an electric vehicle my electric bill doubles.

And where does my electric come from?   Well, in this case natural gas is 76%.  The natural gas boils water that spins turbines that create electricity.  It's still a non-renewable resource.  If it's not good for ten billion people, it's not good for one person.

I can give solar to ten or twelve or maybe more billions of people.  I cannot divide natural gas among thirteen or fourteen billion people.

Let's stop focusing on digging and focus on sustainability.  I'm not saying you can't make money on coal or natural gas.  I'm saying the money is in free things like sun, water wheels, wind turbines (only after getting multiple surveys on aerial migration).   One of our favorites is where mirrors bounce the heat of the sun off a water tower.  This boils the water, which spins turbines, which creates electricity.  This is in the Mojave.  The risk is the same, make sure the extreme scrutiny on migratory paths.

You cannot have sun reflections bounce into a flight of birds, or they could fry.

An Email Chain In The Life Of The Owners Of NatEco

Tip: Keep It Simple - If you want to know about what happens to your solar system when you move or sell your home, instead of searching for "move" or 'Moving", search for "Mov", and then you can toggle through any information about moving or what happens when your move.
Roof / Solar Questions: Hold the CTRL button and hit the "F" key.  Watch for the search box in the upper right.  Type in slowly, and watch the results.

100’s of emails, calls, questions, December 2nd.

Here’s just one homeowner’s questions…

We sent him all the details and plans, and he asks what company we are with.

We answered… I own the company with my 50/50 partner. We are Mahogany Solar Installation Roofing. You're already at 89%, under promise, over deliver so more like 92 - 93% with world record holding Longi panels.Every program / panel has 25-year warranties.I can get you pricing, but you don't need to pay more just to get to 100%. I'm happy to get you pricing for LG and Panasonic which are the same price.SunPower is the most expensive.I make the same profit whichever panel you choose. We use the premium panels when someone has an offset of 70% or less. We do at least one LG, Panasonic, and SunPower install per day across the country, so it's nothing new. It would just cost more than the numbers I gave you for the same 25-year warranties. Thanks a lot, and feel free to call anytime.Would you like me to get pricing for either Panasonic, LG, or SunPower?

2. Hey Lee... No need to reprice for different panel manufacturers, but I don't want to lose my two skylights and do not want to just reflash--that's a recipe for problems down the road. If I were to do this, two skylights would have to be replaced. We reply… I'll work it out. Do you want to keep the same skylights as you have now?I'm happy to get quotes and handle the construction from beginning to completion.  Have you seen solatube? https://www.solatube.com/residential

3. No... That’s my point. No leaks now (knock on wood), but if I do a new roof—with solar or not—I don’t want to just re-flash the existing skylights. They should be replaced with the new roof. Btw... solatube looks very cool. More or less pricey than skylights? We replied… I'm sorry, I wasn't clear, we won't give you your skylights back. I was asking, would you like the same style that you have now? Also, how many skylights?  Yes, it would be something like it's $5 / month for each traditional skylights more vs. $24 / month more for each solatube. Or avoid interest rate and just pay cash. There's no pre-payment penalty to pay off early. Lee 917.282.62854. Ah. Got it. Yes, If I did this I would do the same/similar basic skylights. There are two—one small one on the lower roof and one bigger one on the upper roof. Solatube is cool, but not that cool. We reply… Ok, we're covering 89% of your usage. Under promise, over deliver, so closer to 92-93%. 50-year GAF, timberline roof + 2 skylights.<br>The power purchase agreement option is...<br>$117 / month with a 2.9% escalator / annually, we pay the first six months if signed before July 31st.<br>Ownership option... (After completing our site survey, we'll measure the skylights, so this number probably will go down). $46,122 Value- $11,991 (federal tax credit)= $34,131 (actual amount financed)Monthly: $176.30 / month for 15-years. (After site survey, this number will probably go down a couple dollars.)After 15-years, you get free power for the rest of the home's existence.Let me know if you'd like to see a 10 or 20-year option. If you do the ten, you still get the state money in your bank account for years 10-15.Most people do the 15-year, and pay it off in nine or ten years.Site survey will measure your sun and electrical box. You always have the right to change your mind up until we start the roof.Lee917.282.62855. So $176.30/month covers the panels and the roof/skylights and 89-93% of my electric bill? How does this work in conjunction with PSE&amp;G? How is electric stripped from their bill? How, over the next 15 years, would I be billed for that 7-11% of my usage that’s not covered? Reply… It's PSE&amp;G's program. They have to have 22.5% renewable energy on their grid by 2021 or else they get heavily fined by the state. You will still get your electric bill from PSE&amp;G with gas, a service fee for electric, and a few dollars for electric that your solar isn't covering. That's the short version. We discussed briefly on the phone if you remember the state credits...Your system will produce 8,514 kilowatts, and you get one credit for every 1,000 kilowatts you produce. Each credit is worth $91.20.If you take 8.514 credits per year, really you'd get eight the first year, and nine the second year.8.514 x $91.20 = $778.93 on average per year. / 12 - months = $64.91 which goes directly into your bank account. The loan amount is $241 - $64.91 = $176.09 / month.
Thanks, Lee 917.282.62857.

Let me check with my wife... She’s crazed at the moment studying for a test for a work-related certification. In the meantime, how did you pinpoint that my average PSEG electric bill is $149? Reply… Yes, $149.8. Right. My question was how did you generate that figure? Thanks. Ah, yes. This bar graph you sent us, we add up all the usage throughout the year. We then multiply by your average rate of supply and delivery, of 18.7 cents. If you take your kilowatts from this month, and divide by your total electric cost you should get about 18.7. Rates fluctuate by the minute.  In the last twelve months, you used; 9,560 kilowatts or 796.6 kilowatts per month. Let me know if this doesn't make sense.
Lee 917.282.62859. Thanks Lee.

My kWh used over the last 30 days was a whopping 1,995 and my total electric charge was $387.04, which doesn’t add up as you describe below.

Reply… Yes, please send that bill, and I'll reassess.Last July you used a little less. Your winter, bills will compensate for the higher summer bill to average out.10. Thanks. See attached for the period 6/25-7/24.

Reply… The only way to really tell is to get all 12 bills from PSE&amp;G. I'm happy to wait on hold for you and call them with you if you'd like.Yes, I have your lowest bill in November and December at $75.17.You see the high bill.Upon looking closer, the average bill is $159. It may seem crazy with a $387 bill. You have eight bills under $112.I found a way to cover 98% of your usage.11. Sorry for the foot-dragging Lee.

My wife was studying for a certification for work, we were in the middle of refinancing the mortgage and then we were away. Can we have a call this week, including my wife, to put everything we've discussed back on the table so we can make a fully informed decision whether to move forward or not? Reply… (We scheduled a time to speak).

12. Just want to be clear... The note from Sunlight Financial says the monthly payment is: $233.02 with 26% voluntary payment at month

18. $320.14 with no voluntary payment at month 18.</li></ul>Not sure what is meant by "voluntary payment."&nbsp; Also not sure what "month 18" has to do with it.In your notes, I see $168.03/month and $176.09/month. I know the $233.02 is before the effect of federal and state tax credits, but not sure where $320.14 comes from. We reply… Hey guys, it's all about that tax credit. The voluntary, is the $11k. That rebate goes into your pocket. You can do whatever you want with that.Providing that you take the 26% / $11k and pay off the system, the payment stays the same.Let me know if that doesn't make sense.13. Thanks Lee. Still a bit unclear. What payment "stays the same?" You don't mean applying the $11k to "pay off the system," you mean to pay down a portion of the cost of the system, no?What I'm hung up on is the following from one of your previous notes.$44,622&nbsp;- $11,601 (federal tax credit)&nbsp;= $33,021 (Actual Amount Financed)Monthly: $168.03/month for 15-years

When does that $11k federal tax credit come? After the next tax year (2021)? Am I paying the $233.02 or $320.14 listed in the Sunlight Financial documents until that time?

Is there a max income to qualify for the $11k credit? You say we should have $90,949 in W2 income--$14k more per kid (we have one) and $3,500 more/dependent over 24 (NA). My income alone was $134k for 2019.</li><li>How does the state credit, based on kWh produced, factor into the above scenario/monthly payment?</li><li>The interest rate on the loan is 2.99%, correct? Is that a fixed rate?</li></ul>We've certainly talked about all these things, but the real-world number--what I will pay monthly for upward of 15 years--remains murky considering the above. We reply… What payment "stays the same?"

The $233.02 - $64.70 (state credit) = $168.30.

You don't mean applying the $11k to "pay off the system," you mean to pay down a portion of the cost of the system, no? Correct. What I'm hung up on is the following from one of your previous notes:$44,622&nbsp;- $11,601 (federal tax credit)&nbsp;= $33,021 (Actual Amount Financed)Monthly: $168.03/month for 15-years

When does that $11k federal tax credit come? After the next tax year (2021)?

Correct, I'm not an accountant. With one child under 24, I've calculated that you'd need to make $104,400 in order to get the full $11,601 back in the 2021 federal rebate.

Am I paying the $233.02 or $320.14 listed in the Sunlight Financial documents until that time? <strong>You're paying $233.02 and will get an average of $64.70 back / month from the state which equals $168.32. If you choose to keep the $11,601 that's given to you, then, you'd pay $233 for the first 17-months, and on the 18th month it would go up to $320. Only do that if you have another loan that's higher than 2.99% is my suggestion.  Is there a max income to qualify for the $11k credit?

There's no maximum. You say we should have $90,949 in W2 income--$14k more per kid (we have one) and $3,500 more/dependent over 24 (NA). My income alone was $134k for 2019. I'm not an accountant, unless you my spouse writes off every expense reducing your tax liability you should be good. You work for a company, so you pay enough in federal income taxes to get the full $11k back the first year. It sounds like worst case, my spouse will be writing everything off, you'd get the full $11k most in 2021, and the remainder in 2022. The beginning of 2022 is fewer than 18-months from your first payment, so you have time. It sounds like you'll get the whole thing in 2021.

How does the state credit, based on kWh produced, factor into the above scenario/monthly payment? Your system is designed to produce 8,514 kilowatts in a year. We under promise and over-deliver, so it will produce 3-4% more than that. For every 1,000 kilowatts the state pays $91.20. So 8.514 x $91.20 = $776.47 / 12-months = $64.70 on average per month for 15-years. The interest rate on the loan is 2.99%, correct? Is that a fixed rate? Correct.

14. Sorry to be so dumb, but a few clarifications

What payment "stays the same?"

The $233.02 - $64.70 (state credit) = $168.30.

If the $11k federal credit doesn't come until 2021, wouldn't I be paying $320.14 - $64.70 = $255.44 until I see that credit? (the initial $233.02 vs $320.14, the amount before ths state credit, is unclear)

When does that $11k federal tax credit come? After the next tax year (2021)? <strong>Correct, I'm not an accountant. That would be a bummer.Does $44,622 represent the cost of the system alone or does that factor in the cost of the roof? If it's the former, is that on the high side for solar? Business owners can write off almost every expense except clothing. So let's say she buys a $40k car for a business the same year you go solar, and claims the whole thing, then that would impact the amount of tax liability. If you usually get money back, you'll get more back. If you owe, you'd owe less. Again, I'm not the accountant, I just have a bird's eye view of how this stuff works. I don't have any estimates from anyone else, but even if you take $10-$12k out, it seems high for 8 kW. Is it a function of the type of system? Is it that it's NJ? Or is this in line with current industry pricing? Reply… Hey sir, I'm more than happy to answer now that I know you're a writer it's making sense.<ul><li>I totally appreciate that you're not an accountant, but does making more than $104,400--whether it's $104,401, $134,000, or $1,000,000--impact the amount of the federal credit? <strong>It has nothing to do with it. For the "lease" power purchase agreement it's free. This is you paying $20 / month more than today's bill. Your bill in five years without solar is going to be $192. $20 x 12-months x 15-years = You get a roof + solar for $3,600. If you don't need a new electrical box, tree work, sistering (roof strengthening), etc. this price very well might go down. It rarely goes down, but if it does I'll let you know. A technical question: A recent https://www.solarreviews.com/solar-companies SolarReviews article mentions solar inverters as causing more warranty issues than the panels themselves. The article recommends the brand Enphase for micro inverters, SolarEdge for power optimizers and, if string inverters are permitted, either SMA or Fronius. Do you use these brands? The same article features the visual below re: cost . Any thoughts? Reply… Yes, you're getting SolarEdge, and there's a 25-year warranty.17. Hi Lee... Following the site inspection, wasn't there supposed to be a detailed estimate that takes into account the condition of the electrical panel and attic, and the drone photos? Also, an

https://news.energysage.com/how-much-does-a-9-kw-solar-energy-system-cost

http://energysage.com/ energysage.com  includes the price range for a 9kW system across various states. Does the program we've discussed factor in the cost of replacing the roof? If so, what would be the cost if I didn't need a new roof? Reply… Yes, we evaluate once preliminary paperwork is signed. Again, you have full right to stop or pause this program until we begin construction on your roof. Those prices look like cash prices, and maybe prices before labor, permitting, engineering, structural, procurement, etc. Your cash price without a roof for a 9.3 kilowatt system is $28,940.26.This is a little silly as the prices of equipment don’t vary in price depending on the state. I’m not in charge of procurement, but that seems silly for a company to charge thousands less or more per state. We do sell in 27 states, and I don’t have different prices per state.Your financed price without a roof is $37,584.76 with a 1.49% interest rate.Things will most likely change after engineering. I pay very close attention to see as we move forward how to get you the best deal in town.18. Thanks Lee.

What I'm trying to determine is the price impact of the roof. The financed price with the roof is $44,622 ($33,021 with the federal tax credit), without the roof $37,584.76 ($25,983.76 with the credit).Either way, with this deal, it would appear that I'm not really "getting" a roof as a component of the solar program.Based on the financed price (with or w/o the roof) I'd pay around $7k for the roof, which isn't much less than I'd pay for a roof without solar.Looking at it that way, joining the green community and promoting alternative energy is the incentive--the roof is not the incentive. Please tell me if I'm misunderstanding this. Reply… I'm quoting your roof at $7,361 at my wholesale rate, however you'd get 26% tax credit. So, really it's a $8k - $13k roof for $5,647.Remember, it's 26%, so the credit with or without the roof changes the incentive. 26% of $44k or 26% of $37k.We love the environment, and have raised over $1M for environmental organizations to date. Only one of our last twenty homeowners did it for the environment, and at the same time got a great deal. Meaning that they were saving money day one, because they didn't need a new roof.Secondarily or primarily to the roof depending on how you want to look at it, is erasing your electric bill and getting free power for the rest of the home's existence. If you promote it, that's great, I'll pay you or pay for your next home improvements. You don't need to promote it; it's a utility. Not many promote electricity, it's a necessity. As an added value, it's like adding an extra layer of protection for your roof. The most damaging element to a roof is the sun. Instead of the sun directly hitting your roof, it will hit the panels. We're yours for life. Moving forward, we'll get the engineering and structural reports. This will tell us if you need sistering (rafters / joints), it will give us a solid roof quote, I will look into different better interest rates, and we'll true up the exact amount of your electric bill that we'll erase. There's no pre-payment penalty, and if you pay even $5 in cash it will lower the financed amount. You're always in full control to stop or pause the process whenever you like until we get on your roof.19. What does this mean... "If you promote it, that's great, I'll pay you or pay for your next home improvements. You don't need to promote it; it's a utility. Not many promote electricity, it's a necessity." Reply…. We just paid to get a couple's driveway done because they gave us four referrals. Another guy, we're building mirrored ceilings in place of his skylights that he wanted to cover to fit more panels in place of the skylights. One couple has asked how many referrals to do the kitchen, and we told them 15. We could pay $350 - $1,000 cash per referral, but we think it's fun to find out what else people are planning. We'd shop and get three quotes for you, and we get to meet contractors for networking. Our tree guy just gave us a referral.<br>20. Hi Lee... Now that we're past Labor Day, we can concentrate more fully on this. Two things:

My neighbor at 398 Xxxxxxxxn Xx put solar on the house earlier this year and says it's not producing the way the company told him it would--he tells me he paid about $26k-$27k for the project (no roof). It was done by Xxxxxxxx Solar.

I'm thinking more about the financial aspect. As much as I am drawn to the concept of going green, not only is my roof closer to the end of its practical life than not, my central AC system is from 2002 and close to replacement time as well. I'm feeling like if I were to look into doing a roof and the AC I could do it for less than the roof/solar project. I think that's my conundrum: I'd love to add a value-boosting alternative energy source to my house, but I'm not sure I can do it at the expense of one of the structure's most critical big-ticket components. Reply… I'm sorry to hear about your neighbor. Some reps may say, "It will cover all of your usage". I'm not sure what he was told.I'm sure he has been in touch with them. If he has more room, I'm sure they could add a panel. I know that's not the point. I get he's not getting what he was promised, and even though that wasn't me, I take responsibility for the whole industry. That type of thing wouldn't happen if people were just transparent.I'm saying it will cover 97% of your current usage, producing 8,514 kilowatt hours a year. The orange bar graphs on your bill show you're using just over that. I low ball the bar graph to be safe, and have my engineers check my work. Even if it were 96%, I'm backing it up with the fact that this is producing 8,514 kilowatt hours / year. You can eyeball and see you're using just over that, making it 97%. I'm about 95% sure that these are the exact numbers, and the site survey will true everything up to be 100% accurate. If you get a more efficient AC, that is great. Then you'll be producing over 100% of what you use. You'd be credited. It never expires, it's like roll over minutes. So if in a few years, you get an electric car, some of that will be covered.Since you use a bit more than your neighbor, that's why your system is larger thus more expensive. However great the AC and roof are, you'll always have an electric bill unless you go solar. It's all about erasing the electric bill. Also, you're getting 26% off of your roof already at a wholesale rate. You're paying $149 now. I'm getting you a 50-year GAF roof for $0 down. You're at $169 / month for the solar and the roof, and I believe I can get that down to $160 or lower with a lower interest rate depending on the site survey and some other things.Alternatively, we could also wrap the AC into this, getting you $0 and 26% off of your AC $5,929 - $9,277 as rebate check six weeks after installation (amount pending site survey). Or, if you give me five - ten referrals, I'll pay for your AC in full depending on how much it is.</li></ul>21. Hey Mike, I'm on with PSE&amp;G now to find out their exact hours, Let me know when you're available 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., I believe they are open until 6 or 7 to verify it's your account. I received the tax info. As I understand, you claim one child. How many exemptions / deductions do you claim?I claim 9 deductions as they pay me out as opposed to holding my money for the refund, which I prefer as it's my money.Do you invest in the stock market and have dividends? Personally, I owed every year when I invested in the market. I took everything out to invest in apartments in Texas and Florida.

Either way, you definitely wouldn't owe this year. I just want to continue to be transparent as far as your choices. 22. I claim myself, my wife and my daughter. I'd rather not owe too much, but I don't care about a refund, honestly. Why do I need to give the government a loan? I, and my wife, each have 401(k)s and non-Roth IRAs.We do fairly well, but are certainly not wealthy. As I said, I'm concerned that what I thought would be $170ish /month could at some point become $250ish/month. That's not a sustainable figure for us.Tomorrow, I can be available pretty much any time. Reply… Ok, we'll start with PSE&amp;G, and the actual roof price, as I hope it is lower than my estimate. I have the ridge vent, bathroom ventilation to the roof, and two skylights.I agree about loaning the government.I have earning $90,949, you'd have $11,726 in tax liability, plus one child tax deduction of $14,000 = $104,949. That means you won't owe anything, and you'll get a refund. As long as you take that refund and pay off the solar system, the $168.30 won't change.I'll call tomorrow for the PSE&amp;G information at 9 a.m. or after, depending on how long I wait on hold, unless you'd rather earlier or later.Alternatively, on PSE&amp;G's website;#1. log in#2. click on billing#3. We already have July and February, so look for a bill from September, August, June, etc.

Selling Homes With Solar

Hey we understand, You are signing up for 5-25 year partnership with us, it’s a really long time. It’s a half of a decade or more. We understand. Most people live in their homes for an average of five or seven years.

So this 5-25-year agreement is going to see at least three or four different owners. Just to give you an example right here, in Morristown, my hometown, we have Mickey, he actually signed up for solar in January 2020. So they’ve only had the benefit of inexpensive energy for about two months, and they’ve had the opportunity to move into a new home, so what they did to sell their house so quickly is they advertised their home with solar on it and a $0 electric bill. They transferred that agreement to the new homeowner. So the new homeowner has the benefit of inexpensive or $0, clean energy just like they had. The new homeowner will finish out that 5-25-year agreement or as long as they live in the house and transfer that agreement to the next homeowner after them. Everyone’s favorite question is what if the new owners don’t want it? Let’s take a step back and think about that question. If you are a homebuyer, and you’re driving around the street, and you saw Mickey’s house. You see the solar panels on it. If you were against solar for whatever reason and you didn’t want it. Would you call that realtor to buy that house? Probably not. You’d just go on looking for the next house. But just for the sake of argument, let’s just say you said take those solar panels off, I want to pay more for my energy for the same thing. If that ever happens the former owners could take their system and move it to the new house. So at no point is anyone ever stuck in a 5-25-year agreement and have to pay that out that would never happen. Now, if it was an bad install, that's a different story, aesthetics is our #1 priority. Before you wash your hands of solar, at least see our guarantees, and how to market the home with a $0 electric bill. Talk to a real estate professional now, call Zoiper Click2Dial917.282.6285US.

What Will Solar Look Like?

Old solar was midnight blue with the silver lining. New solar is flat, black, thin, and plush to the roof.

Solar is most efficient on the southern side of your home in the northern hemisphere, like here in Jersey City, NJ. We treat your home's architecture and aesthetics like we would treat our own. Design your beautiful system today, call Zoiper Click2Dial917.282.6285US.

Should I Have Roof Concerns?
We don't nail the panels directly into the roof anymore. It's based on a bracketing system. The panels are attached to the bracketing system. It's just a bracket that runs across your roof. What's going to happen is we're going to have one of my solar experts on out. They actually going show you on our program and you'll be able to see what the panels would look like if they were on your house that way if down the road if this is something that you're interested in at least you'll have the idea of why we don't nail them right into the roof, how we bracket them to home itself, and lastly how it protects the roof from whatever mother nature throws at it. While we don't install on cedar shake and roofs, we will get you a brand new roof. With older homes in Northern Jersey like in Maplewood, NJ and in Newark, NJ, this month alone we're removing two cedar shake roofs here. These homeowners are getting a 50-year roof with 3-D composition shingles. Before we install on your roof, we do a site survey. If it's determined that the roof won't outlast the life of the panels, we'll replace the roof for you. See the roofing lifetime warranty program here, call Zoiper Click2Dial917.282.6285US.

Should I Wait On New Technology?

We don't cover your roof to cover your roof. We co er your electric usage. When the new technology drops in two years, all we can do is cover your usage. If you add an electric vehicle in two years, adding to your usage, then we can always add more panels. By year 42, the panels are still producing 82% of what they were producing when they were originally activated. By year 20, they are guaranteed to still be at 90%. New solar is not like the old solar of even six months ago. Get Tesla or SunPower now, call Zoiper Click2Dial917.282.6285US.

How Long Is The Whole Process?

We're quick. We get it. You're busy. We work with people that work in the city and commute home to their New Jersey suburbs. We meet people at 9 p.m. in night. Don't get caught without knowing the fine print of your solar power warranties

Picking the correct gear for your solar energy system, and the correct organization to introduce it, are both significant choices to a fruitful energy arrangement. Solar energy frameworks accompany various warranties that apply to various pieces of the system, and attempting to monitor them all can get befuddling. Here's a basic manual for the various guarantees for your solar agreement, and which ones you should focus on.

Sorts of warranties for your new solar energy system.

A portion of the warranties that back your solar systems are identified with the hardware, and some are identified with the paperwork itself. The following are the primary solar warranties that you ought to consider before leaving all necessary signatures.

Sun powered hardware warranty

Housetop solar arrays have no moving parts, and solar panels are amazingly strong. Beside an intermittent wash (on the off chance that you live in a dry or dusty region), your panels don't require any everyday upkeep, either.

While issues with a solar systems are uncommon, your panels will accompany a solar hardware warranty. Additionally alluded to as the "materials" warranty, the solar gear warranty ensures that your solar panels will be free from issues brought about by assembling deformities or sturdiness issues. In the event that your panels flop because of one of these issues, the producer will give you substitutions at no expense. The business standard for the materials guarantee is 10 years, in spite of the fact that the best solar agreements offer up to a 25-year guarantee.

The inverter, which changes over power from your sun power into a structure that can be utilized in your home, additionally accompanies a warranty. Inverters by and large aren't as enduring as solar panels, so you'll likely need to supplant your inverter at any rate once over the lifetime of your agreement. Materials warranties for inverters regularly run from five to 10 years, with certain organizations offering 12-year or even 25-year guarantees.

Performance warranty

Solar execution normally degrades after some time at a generally gradual rate. To give you a feeling of what's in store year-over-year, your solar panels additionally accompany a power creation warranties. Generation warranties depend on lab tests that repeat the conditions your panels should last more than 25 years. For the best idea look at non-lab testing. Look for actual real world testing.

Solar panel makers offer a power generation warranty, which ensures that their panels will hold a specific level of their creation limit over the initial 25 years. Most power generation guarantee will ensure that, following 25 years, a sun powered board will work at around 80 percent of its unique yield. For this measurement, a higher rate assurance is desirable over a lower rate.

The creation warranty should likewise offer an assurance that your boards just lose a specific level of their generation ability every year – ordinarily close to 0.7 percent. For this situation, you should search for a guarantee that ensures a moderately low pace of decrease (in rate terms).

Solar installer workmanship and rooftop guarantees

Notwithstanding the hardware incorporated into your agreement, numerous solar installers offer a warranty on their workmanship. Introducing a solar installation on your rooftop or a ground mount is a savvy choice and a major speculation. In the event that your solar installer offers a workmanship guarantee, it is an indication that they are prepared and ready to remain behind the work that they do on your home, from framework plan to establishment.

Appropriately introduced solar panels may or may not void any current guarantee that you have on your rooftop, and the work done to introduce your panels is normally secured under your installer's guarantee. Truth be told, solar panels can really expand the life of your rooftop by shielding it from mileage brought about by the components.

Critically, workmanship guarantees can change starting with one organization then onto the next, regardless of whether the warranty length is the equivalent: some installers spread work costs for any gear adjusting required during their warranty period, while others don't. It's critical to peruse any workmanship warranty completely before signing an agreement with a solar organization.
What befalls your solar warranties if your installer closes business?

One of the most regular inquiries posed by mortgage holders is, "the thing that occurs if my installer closes their business?" The short answer is that the most significant parts of your framework – the gear – will in any case be secured by producer warranties, regardless of whether your installer isn't around to respect their workmanship warranty. Moreover, in the far-fetched occasion that there is an issue with the workmanship for your solar system, it will become evident very quickly.

Consider the last time you purchased another dishwasher or other home appliance: did you center more around the brand name of the apparatus, or the temporary worker that introduced it? While both are significant contemplations, odds are you centered more around getting that new Maytag dishwasher or GE French Door fridge. Solar panels are the same, and blending your hardware warranty with a solid power execution warranty is the most ideal approach to be sure you'll have a top notch item that performs well into what's to come.

In the uncommon occasion that something goes off-base, a considerable lot of the organizations that assembling solar hardware –, for example, LG, Panasonic, Hyundai and Kyocera – are long-standing, respectable gadgets makers. This implies you can be sure that they will be around to respect their gear warranties if and when the opportunity arrives.

Timing is the best way to build a relationship

If I'm trying to have a conversation and someone doesn't have time, I won't always have their full attention.

Conversely, if the other person knows the conversation will take an hour, they will generally prepare themselves to handle the hour.

If we know that someone is catching a train or has a meeting, they may have some time, they just don't want to be late.

I can ask or find out how much time they do have.
Making it all happen in that time frame and getting them to their destination on time or early will result in them loving the conversation.

Building a relationship is paramount to winning at the game that you're playing.
You can build the relationship based on family, friends, common groups of people whether that's sports, race, religion, etc.

Relate based on a common communities, countries, or the world.

The top relationship that we all have in common aside from the world is timing.

Being early shows professionalism, likability, and trust.

Making someone late or showing up late will cause a major if not permanent loss of integrity and trust.

I prefer, as per Gary Vee, 10-minute meetings are amazing and productive.

If you're asking how can you

They say be on time. Really they should say be a half hour early. That way if you run late you're still early.

What About The Weather?

Acts of God are covered under insurance.  The solar panels nowadays will withstand hurricane force winds, three feet of snow (the equivalent weight of a Volkswagon Beatle).

Climate occasions like hurricanes and blizzards or 200 miles per hour could cause harm to housetop and ground-mounted solar energy systems. It is critical to know how solar arrays hold up, and on the off chance that they can be a solid strength structure in case of outrageous wind occasions that may take out pieces of the structure.

Solar panels hold up well in high winds

By and large, solar panels are profoundly impervious to harm from blustery conditions. Is real world testing, wind, hall, snow up hold great. In many occurrences where wind makes harm, disappointments happen because of shortcomings in the racking framework or in the rooftop that your boards are mounted to.

In high wind areas we will stick with code for racking.

At the point when wind blows over a rooftop with solar, it goes through the little space that ordinarily exists between the panels and the rooftop (or between your panels and the ground on account of ground-mounted frameworks), making a lot of elevate the panels. This marvel is fit for tearing panels from their mounts, or the mounts from the rooftop or ground. In the most extraordinary cases, solar panels may remain secured down, yet elevate from winds can remove segments of your rooftop. Cases like these show that a well-built solar racking system may be more impervious to high winds than your rooftop itself.

By the ocean in New Jersey, we have specific codes. We have been installing roofing for nearly 40-years, and are experts on the Jersey shore. This requires solar installers to test their panels and racking hardware to guarantee that they will remain tied down to your rooftop in storm level winds.
Most sun based installers pursue building rules set by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) in their Minimum Design Loads gauges book.

While ASCE doesn’t command a specific degree of wind opposition, they layout a standard system for testing sun oriented boards for a breeze obstruction rating. This guarantees sun powered board establishments across the nation are contrasted with a typical standard, and is a decent method to confirm that your sunlight based installer is putting their hardware through suitable and acknowledged testing strategies. Districts will frequently incorporate ASCE 7-10, the breeze explicit ASCE standard, as a piece of their neighborhood construction regulations to guarantee nearby sunlight based installers are complying with national structure principles and counts.

Solar Shopping

As you're thinking about going solar, it tends to be useful to comprehend the various sorts of solar organizations that may have an influence in your choices. The three significant sorts of sun powered organizations are solar equipment manufacturers, build partners, and the banks.

Solar gear makers produce the panels, inverters, batteries, and more that go on your property during an installation. Assembling organizations are situated in various areas around the globe and ship their items to numerous nations. Build partners are the organizations you are likely to connect with the most during the solar shopping process - they are nearby, territorial, or national organizations that handle the structure and installation of your solar array. In conclusion, the banks give solar clients approaches to pay for the procurement of equipment and the labor, frequently as a solar credit.

At times, build partners fit in various or each of the three of classifications. For instance, Tesla Energy is a solar organization that serves these capacities: they make panels, give financing alternatives like advances and rents, and even install the panels.

Solar panel manufacturers
In the car business, vehicle makers like Toyota, Mercedes, and Jeep produce cars and offer them to vendors, which thusly offer them to singular purchasers. In the solar industry, solar gear manufacturers are undifferentiated from organizations like Honda and Chevy; they make the physical solar photovoltaic (PV) panels and other fundamental solar hardware that installers in the end offer to individual solar customers.

There are a wide assortment of sun oriented organizations found all over the world that produce sun powered hardware. A portion of these organizations solely make sun oriented gear (like SunPower and Trina Solar), while others might be family unit electronic organizations that have a sunlight based division (like LG and Panasonic). Much the same as vehicles, there are a wide range of alternatives accessible from sun powered makers, each with their very own preferences and disadvantages. All sunlight based hardware will help produce useable power from the sun, yet the expense and execution of individual brands and items shift.

Sunlight based board establishments aren't finished with sun powered boards alone. For a total sun oriented vitality framework establishment, you'll need inverters, racking, wiring, and conceivably even an observing framework. Some sun powered board makers may likewise create these parts, yet more often companies have practical experience in making one explicit segment of a sun based board framework.
What separates sunlight based gear producers from each other? Elements like cost, gear effectiveness, additional highlights, and guarantees all have an influence in deciding the general nature of a sun oriented board. Experience has an influence also - a considerable lot of the best sun oriented hardware makers have been doing business for quite a long while. Be that as it may, new and creative makers are continually springing up with slicing edge technologies to improve sun oriented board system performance.

The following is a rundown of the absolute biggest and most surely understood sun powered board makers, all that produce a wide range of kinds of sunlight based boards that will tackle sun based vitality for your home or business:

Panasonic
LG
Silfab
Hanwha Q CELLS
Trina Solar
JinkoSolar
SunPower
SolarWorld
Hyundai
Canadian Solar
The following is a rundown of probably the biggest and most surely understood sun oriented inverter makers. A significant number of these makers produce exclusively one kind of the three significant inverter innovations (microinverter, control streamlining agent, or string):
SolarEdge
Enphase
ABB
Tigo

On the off chance that sunlight based board makers are what might be compared to vehicle producers like Toyota in the automobile business, sun oriented installers (otherwise called sun oriented temporary workers) are what might be compared to the vendor you visit to purchase a vehicle. Sun based installers are the sunlight based organization you will associate with the most as you're going sun oriented in light of the fact that sun oriented board frameworks are regularly obtained from installers, not makers legitimately. In that capacity, the expression "sunlight based organizations" is regularly utilized when alluding to a sun oriented installer.

Sun based establishment organizations buy sun oriented boards and the other vital segments of an installation made by assembling organizations, and train particular temporary workers to introduce the sun based hardware. Notwithstanding building your sun based board framework, sun based establishment organizations regularly handle other strategic components of going sun based, for example, applying for essential allowing, working with service organizations to get your framework interconnected, and applying for sun oriented motivating forces you might be qualified for. Prior to introducing your sun oriented boards, installers will play out a site evaluation to assess your rooftop and take any fundamental estimations. During site visits, installers will likewise decide whether your establishment requires any extraordinary contemplations.

Much the same as sun based board producers, sun based installers will give guarantees to clients in case of specific issues you may experience with your nearby planetary group. The accessibility, span, and degree of inclusion of a sunlight based installer's workmanship guarantee is one way to determine how qualified a sun based installer is. Different approaches to think about sun powered installers are by their licenses, confirmations, years in business, and client surveys.

Some sun powered organizations are all the more generally known, for the most part because of their size and wide help an area. A couple of instances of these kinds of sun powered organizations are:

Some sun based organizations are all the more broadly known, for the most part because of their size and wide help an area. A couple of instances of these kinds of sun oriented organizations are:

Tesla Energy
SunRun
Vivint
Sunnova
While there are masters to marking an agreement with a notable, national organization like Tesla or Sunrun, deciding to work with a neighborhood sun oriented installer has numerous advantages also. Notwithstanding your inclination for sunlight based installer size, it's constantly a smart thought to compare various quotes for sun powered before settling on a choice on an establishment.

The third sort of sun oriented organization you may work with during the way toward introducing sun oriented boards is a sunlight based financing organization. Proceeding with the automobile business relationship, a sun powered financing organization is similar to Bank of America or Capital One, the organizations offering advance items to vehicle purchasers to help pay for a vehicle forthright. Sun powered financing organizations can offer verified or unbound sunlight based credits, a large number of which are zero-down choices. On the off chance that you need to comprehend the full scope of organizations offering sun based credits to property proprietors, you can look for advances on EnergySage to become familiar with your choices.

You can take out a sun powered advance from a wide range of organizations, yet there are presently a few financing organizations having some expertise in sunlight based advance items. A couple of instances of these sorts of associations are:

Profit
Mosaic
Sungage Financial
GreenSky Credit
GoodLeap
Sunlight Financial
Cash Purchase

Beside sun powered advances, some national sun oriented organizations offer leases or power buy understandings (PPAs) to fund your sun powered venture. Instances of organizations that offer these alternatives are Vivint and Sunrun.

RE: Project Number NJSRRE - Notice of Conditional Registration - Compliant

Dear M

You are receiving this letter to inform you that your initial solar registration has been conditionally accepted by New Jersey’s Clean Energy Program’s (NJCEP) Solar Renewable Energy Certificate (“SREC”) Registration Program (SRP). The final acceptance of this initial registration is conditioned on completing the solar installation, commencing commercial operations by April 30, 2020 i.e. the date which has been determined by the Board as the date at which 5.1% of the total kilowatt hours sold in New Jersey will have been generated by SREC-eligible solar electric generation facilities (5.1% Milestone).

Pursuant to the Clean Energy Act of 2018, P.L. 2018, c. 17 (“Act”), the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (“Board”) must close the SRP to new applications upon the attainment of 5.1% of the kilowatt-hours sold in the State from solar electric power generators connected to the distribution system. In the February 27 Order, the Board clarified its interpretation of this section of the Act as follows: projects previously determined to be eligible for SRECs by satisfying all applicable requirements shall be eligible to create SRECs after the State’s attainment of the 5.1% milestone; projects in the SRP pipeline that have not commenced commercial operations by the time at which the Board determines that the 5.1% milestone has been reached may not be eligible for SRECs.

By Order dated July 10, 2019, the Board further addressed implementation of the Act by stating that projects that filed a complete SRP registration or application for designation or conditional certification after October 29, 2018 but that have not reached commercial operation at the time the Board determines that the 5.1% Milestone has been attained will be eligible to be considered for any transition program that the Board may adopt, provided they have maintained eligibility in other respects. (I/M/O a New Jersey Solar Transition Pursuant to P.L. 2018, c.17, BPU Docket No. Q019010068, Order dated July 10, 2019, available at https://www.nj.gov/bpu/pdf/boardorders/2019/20190710/7-10-19-8L.pdf)

The Board is monitoring the progress of the market toward achieving the 5.1% Milestone and will determine when it has been achieved.

The Act also shortened the SREC Qualification Life from 15 to 10 years. In the February 27 Order noted above, the Board ordered Board Staff to apply a 10-year SREC Qualification Life to all projects otherwise eligible for which complete applications were submitted after midnight on October 29, 2018. Please see the Board’s Order for additional details. Available at https://www.state.nj.us/bpu/pdf/boardorders/2019/20190227/2-27-19-8H.pdf.

Your SRP Registration packet provided us with the following information regarding your solar project:

PROJECT NUMBER NJSRRE1544867091 PREMISE CONTACT M
SYSTEM SIZE 11.9700 INSTALLATION ADDRESS 7
PRIMARY CONTACT (SREC OWNER) M
Note: This letter is addressed to the Primary Contact (SREC Owner) listed in the SREC Registration Certification form signed by the Primary Contact, the Premise Contact (Site Host), and the Solar Contractor.

Your initial registration complies with N.J.A.C. 14:8-2.4(c)(1). The date of your project's conditional acceptance is 04/27/2020. In order to be eligible to create SRECs, your project must receive Permission to Operate from the Electric Distribution Company by April 30, 2020, i.e. the date which has been determined by the Board as the date at which 5.1% of the total kilowatt hours sold in New Jersey will have been generated by SREC-eligible solar electric generation facilities (5.1% Milestone). You must also submit a Final As-Built Packet within 90 days of the date of reaching commercial operation. Staff will close the SRP portal such that no new documents may be uploaded on the 91rst day following April 30, 2020. Upon completion of your project installation, you must submit all documents required on the Final As-Built Checklist, meet all program eligibility requirements and must pass the onsite verification. A kilowatt-hour meter that meets ANSI C12.1-2008 standards is required to be installed capable of recording the solar PV system output. NOTE: AN EXTENSION WILL NOT CONFER ELIGIBILITY FOR SRECS IF THE BOARD DETERMINES THAT THE 5.1% MILESTONE HAS BEEN ACHIEVED PRIOR TO COMMENCEMENT OF COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS.

If your project does not reach commercial operation prior to the 5.1% Milestone attainment date, i.e. prior to April 30, 2020, it will be transferred to the Transition Incentive Program, subject to the rules and regulations of said Program.

When your Final As-Built packet is deemed complete, you will either receive a waiver of inspection or be randomly selected for an on-site inspection. If you are selected for an on-site inspection, you may be required to be present for the inspection. You will be notified via email and will be contacted by a Program Representative to schedule the inspection.

Upon satisfactory completion of all program requirements, the project will be issued a NJ SREC Certification Number or a TREC Certification Number, and instructions on how to register the solar PV generating system at PJM-EIS GATS.

For more information please refer to the Final As-Built Checklist requirements and other program documents on the NJCEP website at www.njcleanenergy.com. The recent SRP Closure Board Orders dated 3/27/2020 and 4/6/2020 and the Draft Proposed Transition Incentive Program rules have been posted on Solar Transition Proceeding page on the NJCEP website at https://njcleanenergy.com/renewable-energy/program-updates-and-background-information/solar-proceedings.

If you have questions about your registration status, please feel free to contact NJREINFO@njcleaneneyg.com or call 866-NJSMART.

Thank you for participating in New Jersey’s Clean Energy Program.

SRP Guidelines and Clarifications

Solar Renewable Energy Certificates (SRECS)
Once a qualified solar project is interconnected with the Electric Distribution System in New Jersey and is authorized to be energized by the EDC, the system is able to produce electricity and is eligible to begin earning SRECs. One SREC is earned each time a project generates 1,000 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity.

SREC Eligibility for Adding Capacity to a Previously Installed System
Solar systems meeting one of the following three criteria will have two options regarding metering for the add-on capacity:
Both the initial and add-on registrations were submitted on or before October 29, 2018;
Both the initial and add-on registrations were submitted after October 29, 2018; or
The initial registration was submitted on or before October 29, 2018, the add-on registration was submitted after October 29, 2018, and the remaining SREC Qualification Life is less than 10 years.
Two Options
If a new solar production meter is installed for the add-on capacity, then the add-on capacity will receive a new certification number and a:
15-year SREC Qualification Life if the registration for the add-on capacity was submitted on or before midnight of October 29, 2018; or
10-year SREC Qualification Life if the registration for the add-on capacity was submitted after October 29, 2018.
If a new solar production meter is not installed, then the add-on capacity would retain the remaining Qualification Life of the initial registration.
For add-on projects where the registration for the initial project was submitted on or before midnight of October 29, 2018, the registration for the add-on capacity was submitted after October 29, 2018, and the remaining SREC Qualification Life of the initial registration exceeds 10-years:

A new solar production meter is required for the add-on capacity to be eligible to receive SRECs.

The assigned Project Number and the Permission to Operate (PTO) dates for previously installed solar systems can be found on the Solar Installation Report at SRP Solar Reports. For additional examples and tables for adding capacity to a previously installer solar system, please see 2019 SRP Guidebook.

Location of SRP Program Forms and Documents
The Final As-Built Checklist, Extension Request Policy, and other Forms can be found at http://njcleanenergy.com/renewable-energy/programs/srec-registration-program/registration-forms.

Revenue Grade Meter Requirements
All solar energy systems eligible to earn SRECs must report system production based upon readings from a revenue-grade meter that meets the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Standard C12.1-2008. This meter is in addition to the electric meter installed by the local utility to measure the home or business’ electric consumption. The approved list of revenue grade meters accepted in SRP can be found at solar production meters.
SRP Guidelines and Clarifications (cont.)

Special Reporting Required for Net Metered Projects greater than 1 MW
For the above projects, Quarterly Milestone reports must be submitted to the SRP Processing Team within two weeks of the quarters ending on March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31. If there is a change to the ownership of the SRECs from the initial SRP Registration, this change should be noted on the SRP Milestone Reporting Form and a copy of the newly executed contract reflecting the new owner and a revised SRP Registration Form should be included with the Milestone Reporting form at the next quarterly submission. Quarterly reports can be submitted via email to njreinfo@njcleanenergy.com. The Milestone Reporting Form and instructions on how to submit this form can be found at www.njcleanenergy.com. Note: The requirements of this paragraph do not apply to residential projects.

Requesting an Extension
NOTE: AN EXTENSION WILL NOT CONFER ELIBIBILITY FOR SRECS. If your project does not reach commercial operation prior to the 5.1% Milestone attainment date, i.e. prior to April 30, 2020, it will be transferred to the Transition Incentive Program, subject to the rules and regulations of said Program.

Changing SREC Ownership
Registrants that have a change to the System or SREC ownership must provide a copy of the newly executed contract reflecting the new owner together with a revised SRP Registration Certification form. If the change in ownership occurs after the NJ Certification Number has been issued, please contact GATS for guidance on how to make this change.

Interconnection and Authorization to Energize Requirements
This letter does not constitute a determination of eligibility to interconnect the project to the distribution system in New Jersey. Net metered project owners or their developers must follow the Net Metering and Interconnection process required by New Jersey law at N.J.A.C. 14:8-4.1 through 14:8-5.9 and facilitated by their Electric Distribution Company (EDC). The SRP Processing Team does not review the estimated system production and historical onsite consumption for projects to determine eligibility for net metering purposes. Registrants must obtain the required approval from their EDCs or they may be at risk of proceeding with a project that the EDC refuses to interconnect based on its review of the system output and historical consumption. Among other things, on-site load must be at least equal to project generation before a net-metered system may be energized or final program acceptance issued.

Registrants must also obtain authorization to energize their interconnected system from their EDC. If it is determined that the date of the EDC Authorization to Energize is after the expiration date referenced in this letter, the SRP registration will be terminated, and the registrant will be required to begin the entire registration process by submitting a new initial registration package.

The Final As-Built Checklist requires, among other things, proof that the relevant EDC has approved the interconnection with the EDC’s Electrical Distribution System (i.e., grid) and issued a Notice of Authorization to Energize.

Hey Mike, this is what Joey went over with you on Saturday.

We will walk you through registering for the state credits once we have a "Permission To Operate" date.

Lee + Joey

Yes, we reviewed the change in $/SREC. After reviewing the letter, I am confirming that we need to submit final forms (Completed job/permission to operate) within 90 days of April 30th to meet their requirements for state credits.

es and no. You are definitely getting state credits regardless.

Technically this doesn't apply to you as it will be active after April 30th.

If you have a PSE&G inspection before the 29th, we could petition to get it. This is doubtful, and you do not need to do anything.

SREC - Before the 30th
TREC - After the 30th. This is the $ amount you and Joey discussed Saturday.

Lee Tyler

Lee,

Thank you for clarifying. When should I be receiving the updated loan paperwork and whether the gutters were added to the job?

Regards,
Mike

For sure Mike, you have the change order in your email.

We're at your service 24/7.

Hello Lee,

I completed the document. Did Joey hear anything about the gutters and guards from the roof installer?

Regards,
Mike

Andy, the roofer, will get back to us tomorrow. We'll let you know.

Today your sales rep called into our office to follow up on your project. I understand your insurance company requested verification that the solar panel installation was completed. Please let me know if these pictures are sufficient,  will be glad to assist you in moving forward.

Hello Lee,

Now that the roof and solar system have been installed, I need a receipt confirming installation for my insurance company.

Will you be able to provide this confirmation receipt?

Thanks,
Mike

Yes, what's your XX?

Hey Mike, you may already have everything you need. Sunlight is sending you two things...

#1. Install agreement
#2 Sunlight financial documents

That should give you everything you need.

You should receive that before 11 a.m. today. If you don't see it, maybe check your spam folder. If you still can't find it, let me know.

Although, I believe you already have all of this on your docusign.

If there's ever anything else we can support you with, let us know.

We pay $500 - $1,200 for any referrals after install.

Once you receive your permission to operate date, you can call and register for your credits with Flett Exchange or find another broker, although from our research, flett exchange is the best option. I believe Brian's phone number at Flett Exchange is Zoiper Click2Dial201.209.0234US.

Alternatively, let me know when you get your permission to operate date, and I'll handle this for you. I'll keep an eye out for your date, but they won't be alerting me.

Hello Lee,

I am not going to provide my insurance company with my loan information on the solar panels. I need to provide proof of installation for the solar and roof. The document does not state anything about the solar and roof installations being completed. Is it possible to get this information? Your receipt from MAJ roofing stating the job at 7 should work.

With regard to next steps, who is responsible for setting up the inspection with the township? Who is responsible for contacting PSEG to install a digital meter?

Thanks,
Mike

May 8, 2020, 11:21 AM
We're in touch with the township, and we're in touch with PSE&G.

I will see what more proof I can get you for the insurance company.

Fri, May 8, 2020, 11:28 AM

Me: We're emailing you a completion certificate, the email will also have pictures. You should have everything within the hour.

Fri, May 8, 2020, 12:05 PM

Him: Thank you!

Fri, May 8, 2020, 2:37 PM

Me: Ok, we're sending you an invoice in 10-minutes. Thank you for your patience with this!

May 8, 2020, 8:16 PM

Hey Mike,

We'll get you what you need. We're working on what is normally sent to the insurance companies.

I understand if you're looking for something different.

I'd call and tell them your system is $53,635.

I can do two more things...

#1. Handwritten...
I'll write you a handwritten receipt and either email and / or mail it you with total amount.

#2. Typed...
I'll write a receipt on a computer and either send or mail it to you.

NOTICE: TI Program Application- Next Steps

Previous SRP Registration Number: NJSRRE1
New TI Application Number: NJSTRE1

Dear :
Your registration that was submitted in the SREC Registration Program has now been transferred to the Transition Incentive Program (TI) application portal. The current status of your application is “Eligible for TI Program.” In order to move the project status to the previous status from SRP and complete the transfer, you are required to perform the following task in the TI online portal: Once you are in the portal you will see “Select the Project Type”, you are required to select the appropriate project type from the drop-down list. Once the project type has been selected, the project status will return to the previous status that the SRP registration was under prior to the transfer.

The Transition Incentive is structured as a factorized renewable energy certificate. The factors allow the Transition Incentive Program to provide differentiated financial incentives for different types of solar installations. Using the table below, the project must be identified by project type in the online portal to determine the appropriate factor for TREC eligibility. Applicants with projects for which more than one factor apply (e.g., a project that is partially roof mounted and partially ground mounted) may split their project and submit separate applications for each project type. Each project must have a separate ANSI c-12 revenue grade meter dedicated solely to its TREC production. Each application will receive a distinct TI project number, acceptance date, expiration date and NJ Certification Number. Failure to split the project into two separate projects and applications will result in the lower factor applying to the entire project.

Hey Mike, we're all over it.

I'll follow up Monday and Tuesday as I will have more information then.

You will pass inspection, the attena has nothing to do with it.

Lastly, I'm not sure; I believe sunlight could defer your payment 30, 690, or maybe even 90 days, if you'd like without penalty.

I'm happy to call into sunlight to handle that if you'd like.

NJ Clean Energy just issues the SUN #. I would ask GATS to resend the instructions for payments.

Thanks,
Lee

to Lee, me

Hello Lee,

I received this and also set up my account with SRECTrade. Does this mean I qualified for SRECs instead of TRECs?

Thanks,
Mike

Hello Dr., this is an advertisement. You may want to do this in the future. I do suggest you don't pay this company at this time. Once you enter a few months of usage, you can look into a broker like this to do it for you.

I entered all of your information, and checked on it today. I didn't register correctly. As I'm re-registering, I figured I'd ask which form of entry you'd prefer. One where you add up the kilowatts from your app. The other option, we do the math, and require you to read the meter. Last time I put in the first one.

I will re-register by tonight.

Actual Generation: This entry type requires a manual entering or upload of your monthly generation value. This number is to reflect the actual generation that has occurred in a given month. (Example: Month 1=100 kWh, Month 2= 120 kWh, Month 3= 125 kWh) You provide the kWh that was generated since the last data entry (you do the math)

Meter Reading : This entry type requires a manual entering or upload of your monthly generation value. This number is to reflect the literal value from your meter at the end of a given month. This is an aggregating number that will grow over time. (Example: Month 1= 100 kWh, Month 2= 220 kWh, Month 3 = 345 kWh) You provide the latest reading and the system will determine the kWh that was generated since the last data entry (GATS does the math).

Thanks,
Lee

You can disregard the last email. Hello Dr., this is an advertisement. I'm happy to cancel this SRECTrade, Inc. for you. You are getting TREC's, SRECTrade is just a company name.

You may want to do this in the future. I do suggest you don't pay this company at this time. Once you enter a few months of usage, you can look into a broker like this to do it for you. WIth the SREC's certain brokers could offer a better price by guessing the market. With TREC's it's the same payout for everyone, so the only real benefit of a broker is you saving the 3-4 minutes it will take you to track your production.

I entered all of your information, and checked on it today. I didn't register correctly. As I'm re-registering, I figured I'd ask which form of entry you'd prefer. One where you add up the kilowatts from your app. The other option, we do the math, and require you to read the meter. Last time I put in the first one, as it's fairly simple where you'll see below.

(Example: Month 1= 100 kWh, Month 2= 220 kWh, Month 3 = 345 kWh) You provide the latest reading and the system will determine the kWh that was generated since the last data entry (GATS does the math).

Thanks,
Lee
